The Indicadores is designed by UNIFESP to facilitate the dissemination of university data and indicators using Business Intelligence. It uses Pentaho and Oncase Oktopus as a frontend.
My role in this project was to develop a comprehensive visual identity, including the creation of a logo mark, visual identity, frontend redesign, a online manual of Forplad indicators, and a few pages more pages: About, Help, Login, 404 Page, etc
Rebranding
Indicators were born as a project without a logo or visual identity. And the Oncase Oktopus interface doesn’t offer any visual appeal.
Logomark
For this logo, I started with a simple idea: Join a sign of bar with the initial of the word ‘Indicadores’:

Indicadores construction Interface
The frontend of Indicadores was implemented using a frontend called Oktopus developed by Oncase. It was not the intention to do strong changes in interface, just fine adjustments and a new palette color. At this stage, the bulk of my work consisted of mapping and rewriting CSS classes to get a nicer look.
